Winter Wonderland Centerpieces

I can remember oohing and awing over and over again when I was designing my centerpieces for my wedding.  For some reason this was such a big deal for me.  I think I ended up with goblets with a floating candles and a wreaths of flowers around the base.  Maybe a little hard to describe – they turned out gorgeous though!  There are endless ways to arrange beautiful centerpieces including different bursts of color, various textures, and plenty of sizes.  Here is a look at some winter themed centerpieces.

flowers1So believe it or not, these are actually pom poms made of yarn!  Either way, single flowers or yarn poms, this is a gorgeous simple winter arrangement. Grab some vintage bottles, drop in some single flowers, and whaalaa you’ve got yourself a gorgeous arrangement.  {Source}

dusty miller

A gorgeous winter pastel winter bouquet.  Dusty miller adds a nice texture.  I just love the pale gray and pink mixture.  {Source}

babies breathBabies breath is so simple yet elegant and really perfect for a winter wedding.  Put in vases, mason jars, or even tin cans for a beautiful center piece.  I’ve also seen hanging tin cans of babies breath for more decor.  {Source}

cabbageThis may be weird to some, but I love decorating with cabbage!  The green leaves transitioning to the deep purple veins is just gorgeous and perfect for a fall or winter tablescape.  {Source}

cranberriesThis is a total DIY centerpiece that looks stunning.  Buy bags of cranberries at the grocery store, inexpensive vases and floating candles at a craft store like Michael’s and you’ve created great winter centerpieces!
