Happy weekend everyone! I am proud to announce the newest arrival to Whoa Nellie Press – an Art Deco inspired wedding collection – featuring bold black and white geometric designs and typeface. Please check out pricing in my Etsy shop. While I’m at it, I don’t believe I’ve shared my other latest work, which is a Vera Bradley inspired collection I designed for my client, Paula. This one is bursting with colors and henna-like patterns. What do you think? Which do you like better? I’d love to hear what you think. 🙂
Several months ago now, I had an invitation giveaway to launch my wedding invitation business. I’ve been doing calligraphy for some time now and wanted a new challenge. In return for my giveaway, Alex worked hard to help me with branding Whoa Nellie Press. Being a graphic designer herself, Alex has given me plenty of tips, including help with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. We designed her letterpress invitations suite together, with help from her friend, and illustrator Brooke, and created some pretty darn smashing invitations! Although we are still working on the response card (as her taste test date is in November) and details card, I couldn’t help but share what’s been printed so far. What do you think?
While I’m glowing with excitement and in design mode, I’d also love to hear any inspiration ideas for future invitations. Please share your ideas! In addition, take a look at our shop, with several wedding invitation suites newly added ranging from bold and colorful, to vintage, to rustic. I’m so excited to hear your feedback!
This is what’s been printed so far – invitation and response envelope. The response card and “The Particulars” card is yet to come. Alex decided to go with the vibrant purple outer envelopes and a mix of fun calligraphy in my Skinny Lucy font.
I am totally beaming with excitement as I proudly show off Alex’s wedding invitations. We’ve gone back and forth on formatting and I’m just thrilled with the end result. This invitations suite is for sale on my etsy shop.
I am thrilled to share our latest work on Etsy. First, we have some new Christmas cards up in our shop with another one to come. For any photo cards, please order soon. I also wanted to show off a couple recent invitations I worked on and just got printed. It’s so much fun to see your work in print!
I am so excited to share this card! My family will be sending this card out this year. It totally captures my son’s thoughts. He’ll literally be waking up from sleep and say he’s been dreaming about all kinds of cars and trucks. What a boy!! I’m pretty sure he’ll be asking Santa for something with wheels! If you’d like me to import a photo of your child, please order soon. Order here.
Let it Snow! Totally in love with snowflakes? Then this is the card for you!
I’m totally in love with this invitations suite I just designed and printed for my client, Michelle. It’s hand written in my own Veronica font and then printed digitally. I can also print in letterpress so please inquire. Shop here. Have another style of writing in mind? Visit our font shop.
